The Wandering Dupin

The film tells the story of Sri Lanka, where the civil war is almost over and countless refugees are waiting to leave this war-torn land. In order to make it easier to apply for political asylum, the young woman Yalini (played by Kalieswari Sriniv), the former Tamil Tigers fighter Dipan (played by Jessusasan Antonisasan) and the 9-year-old girl Ilea (Claudine Vinasitha) who lost her parents pretended to be a family and came to the suburbs of Paris, France to start a new life. Di Pan found an apartment manager's job in this poor suburb, where Yalini, who did not speak French, also worked as a housekeeper, and his "daughter" Ilea went to a nearby school. Life seems to be moving in a good direction, but the suburbs of Paris, filled with violence, drugs, and crime, are destined not to be the pure land of their peaceful life. When fate is irreversible, Di Pan has no choice but to use his most familiar means to protect this dependent "family" of three strangers.
