The Vast of Night

The story takes place in 1950s New Mexico, where a young switchboard operator and radio DJ discover a strange frequency that could change their lives, their town, and the entire planet forever. The Promise of Night falls down the rabbit hole of The Twilight Zone, carefully weaving together a hunt-and-find story through dropped phones, AM radio signals, secret reels of tape forgotten in a library, switchboards, crossed patch cords and an anonymous phone call. "The Promise of the Night" takes the audience into an era and a small town far away from the outside world through confusing tracking shots, fast dialogues and perfect era terminology.
