Romantic Mouse Depero

Mouse Depero (voiced by Matthew Broderick) has been frail and sick since childhood, but has two huge ears. He spent his childhood in the library and slowly began to learn to recognize and read. He liked the stories in fairy tales about heroes saving beauties, and often imagined that he could become a heroic knight and draw his sword to help beauties in distress. During an outing, Depero met the Princess and the Pea (voiced by Emma Watson). Depero, who longs to be a hero, was expelled by his father Luster (voiced by William H. Macy) for violating the strict laws of the Rat Kingdom. In the vast land outside the Kingdom of Dole, Depero meets Roscurro (voiced by Dustin Hoffman), a mouse who was also expelled from his country. Soon after, the exiled Depero learned that the Princess and the Pea was imprisoned in a dungeon. Depero, who was deeply in love with the princess, decided to fight to the death to rescue the princess. Will he defeat evil and win the love and dignity he deserves? The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by the famous American children's writer Kate DiCamillo.
