Namiya's Grocery Store

One night in 2012, Atsuya (Ryosuke Yamada), Shota (Hijiro Murakami) and Yukihira (Kanichiro), who grew up in an orphanage, robbed a female entrepreneur. Due to an accidental breakdown of their car, they fled in a hurry and hid in a closed grocery store. This shop, named Naniya Grocery Store, was previously run by a funny and kind-hearted old man named Yuji Naniya (played by Toshiyuki Nishida). Decades ago, he helped children solve various problems as a joke. Later, his reputation became more and more popular, so much so that some people came to him specifically to consult on life's problems. The store, which should have been dormant since 1980, received a troublesome consultation letter after three people broke in. Later, Atsushi and others discovered that these letters actually came from the distant past. On a mysterious night, a lost young man writes a book to help others solve their problems, and their fate is closely linked to this grocery store... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by the popular Japanese mystery writer Keigo Higashino.
