The Dream 1938

The story describes that Wall Street tycoon Kirby intends to expand his factory to a residential area in order to make money, but he is strongly opposed by the Vanderhoof family there. The members of the Fan family all have eccentric personalities. The second daughter Alice also works as a secretary in Kirby's company, and falls in love with Kirby's son Tony, which causes Kirby's dissatisfaction.
