Undine

The film is set in contemporary Berlin, where the heroine Undine is a consultant for the Urban Development Bureau. Her current boyfriend suddenly breaks up with her, and an ancient curse seems to be coming true. According to medieval legends, Undine is a water spirit. If the man who mates with her betrays her, she will kill the man and return to the water. The film's heroine wants to resist this curse and leaves Berlin. At this time she met Christoph, an industrial diver working in a reservoir area in western Germany. The two fell in love. Soon after, Christopher noticed that Undine seemed to be running away from something and felt betrayed... "Undine" is the first part of the "Elemental Elf Trilogy" planned by director Petzold. The next two parts will involve the air elf Sylph and the earth elf Nomu respectively.
