Tender Killing

An underground poker casino controlled by a gang was suddenly robbed by three gangsters. The casino boss is facing a formidable enemy and is determined to find out who is behind the scenes. They invited their right-hand man Jackie Cohen (Brad Pitt) to intervene in the investigation and asked him to find the perpetrators and restore order underground. As a seasoned bounty hunter, Jackie is aloof and secretive. Originally, this money-grabbing plan designed by three young gangsters was so clumsy that it was obvious at a glance, but the casino manager Markey (played by Ray Liotta) was beaten for no reason, and the old alcoholic Mickey (played by James Gandolfini) was killed for no reason. Unexpected events such as this interspersed the situation, and the situation fell into chaos. Jackie peeled off the cocoon and began his in-depth investigation. However, this is the beginning of this bloody storm, and a gentle killing between gangs is about to break out. The film is adapted from the 1974 novel "Corgan's Deal" by George V. Huggins. This film is the first feature film that Brad Pitt and director Andrew Dominic have collaborated on again after "Death of the Outlaw". The film was shortlisted for the Palme d'Or, the main competition unit of the 65th Cannes Film Festival in 2012.
