Hot Love

The Yukino family, which runs the public bathhouse Yukinoyu, was forced to go out of business because the male owner Kazuhiro (played by Joe Odagiri) suddenly disappeared a year ago. His wife Futaba (played by Miyazawa Rie) worked hard and supported the family's affairs by herself, but she gradually felt powerless. Her daughter Ansheng (played by Sugisaki Hana) was bullied at school and was depressed. After a doctor's examination, Futaba has reached the advanced stage of cancer, and the time God has left for her is extremely limited. Futaba put away her tears and used a private detective to find her husband who had lived with other women and Kazuhiro's other daughter. She encouraged An Cheng to face the hardships in school with strength, and face everything that fate throws at them with full spirit. Futaba tried her best to send her last warmth to her family... Rie Miyazawa won the Best Actress Award at the 40th Japan Film Academy Awards in 2017 for her wonderful performance.
