Scars of Tears

Vera, an old lady in a nursing home, rolled down the stairs with her wheelchair and died on the spot. The nanny Dorothy (Kathy Bates) who was caring for her stood nearby holding the murder weapon. Dorothy is the only suspect. It turns out that Dorothy was Vera's maid for 40 years. Because she was scolded and perverted by her master, the case could easily lead to a murder out of spite and seeking revenge. The police have been trying to convict her and sentence her to 20 years in prison. This case alarmed Dorothy's daughter Salina (Jennifer Jason Leigh), who is a reporter in New York. She personally participated in the tracking of the case and reunited with her mother who had been separated for many years and lived together for a few days. This forces her to look back on the dark past, and Dorothy always suddenly recalls what her daughter was like when she was a child. At the same time, a demonic figure was awakened by the memory. It was her husband who was often violent towards her. When she couldn't bear it anymore, she made her final counterattack...
