Director:
Lao Bai (played by Xu Zheng) / a painter who has been divorced for many years / was introduced by a friend to Miss Li (played by Ma Yili) / who is also divorced and has a child. Lao Bai fell in love with Miss Li at first sight / but Miss Li seemed to have concerns about the relationship and has been holding back. Lao Bai opened an art class at home to teach adults how to draw. Gloria (played by Ni Hongjie) is one of his students. Although the passionate Gloria is married / her husband is away from home abroad all year round. She seems to have feelings for Lao Bai that go beyond teacher and student. Beibei (played by Wu Yue) is Lao Bai's ex-wife. Although the two have been divorced for many years and Beibei betrayed Lao Bai / Lao Bai's mother still hopes that they can remarry one day.
