Love is a Bitch

Three stories related to dogs, three sad lives. Octava (played by Gael Garcia Bernal) lives with his mother and brother-in-law. His brother Amiro (played by Marco Perez) fools around with women, works in a supermarket during the day, robs the supermarket at night, and is very rough with his wife Susanna (played by Vanessa Bauche) and their children. Octava slowly falls in love with Susanna. In order to elope with Susanna, he took his dog "Goofy" to participate in underground dog fighting competitions and won a lot of money. Unexpectedly, when the day of the elopement was approaching, Amiro and Susanna left with their children and took away the money he had saved so hard. The furious Octavayo played his last match with his old rival. The opponent was jealous of the loss and shot "Goofy". Octava stabbed his opponent, drove away and had a car accident. His and his family's life took a turn for the worse. The person who collided with Octava was the supermodel Valeria (Goya Toledo). Her lover Daniel (Alvaro Guerrero) had just left his wife and the two started living together. The car accident greatly affected her career. Her dependent pet dog "Mickey" fell under the floor and was seriously injured.
