Synopsis
The French independent production company Gaumont will make a film about Celine Dion called "The Power of Love" at a cost of US$23 million. The film will feature many of Dion's classic songs, including "All by Myself", "My Heart Will Go On", "I'm Alive", etc. Directed by Valérie Le Mercier ("House of Paris", "Fools in May"), she will also play Dion. The film follows Dion from her birth and upbringing in Quebec in the 1960s, to her rise to fame as a teenager, to her relationship with her agent, husband Rene Angelil and her family. Released in France on December 2, 2020.
