Live Treasures

The story takes place in a mountainous area in North China. Benshan (played by Zhao Benshan), who was laid off, happened to meet the depressed Mudu (played by Shi Guoqing). The two posted an advertisement in the county: Shanmu Multifunctional Co., Ltd. undertakes weddings, funerals, massages, and beauty make-ups. There were a lot of customers at once, but they didn't understand the items advertised at all. The customers who were being massaged screamed like pigs, the double eyelids were cut by drawing, and the people who came for fortune telling were even more dizzy and confused. On the second day after the store opened, someone came to settle the score with them, and they fled. The two fled to the countryside and undertook the 100-day celebration organized by a township head for his grandson. Benshan also took over the work of marrying Aunt Zhang (played by Chen Lizhong) and Aunt Wang (played by Huang Suying). Mu Du, who was pretending to be a chef, was getting angry over a dish of Cantonese monkey brains, and Benshan quickly got a plate of pig brains to top it off. Unable to find the gravesite of Aunt Wang's son, Benshan made a pair of dog bones and pretended to be his son's remains...
