Glass Rose

Walter Faber (Sam Shepard), a hydraulic engineer who has always worked rationally, crashed midway and was forced to land in the Mexican desert. However, after being rescued, Walter uncharacteristically decided to go to the Mexican jungle with a German businessman he had never met before to find friends he had not contacted for many years. When they arrived at their friend's house, they found that his friend had committed suicide. Walter's second journey begins on the ferry. Walter, who was in his middle years, met the charming young girl Sybes (Julie Delpy). Sebes, who loves art, and Walter, who specializes in science and technology, seem to be people from two different worlds. However, an uncontrollable love gradually spreads between the two, and they agree to travel to southern Europe together. Inadvertently, Walter learned that Sybes was the daughter of his young girlfriend, Hannah (Barbara Sukowa). Surprised, Walter had to suspect that she was his biological daughter.
