Ideal Cop

Pitkin (Norman Wisdom) has always wanted to become a policeman like his father, but he was born with a short stature and was repeatedly rejected by the police station. Today, he is the administrator of the police station parking lot. Although it is a bit different from the job he imagined, Pitkin still feels very satisfied. By chance, Pitkin rescued a girl who committed suicide. Her name was Rosana (Jennifer Jayne). Rosana wanted to die because she was dissatisfied with the marriage arranged by her parents. Rosana's fiancé Giulio appears to be just an ordinary barber, but his true identity is actually a mafia leader. The police discovered that Pitkin and Julio looked surprisingly similar, so they decided to recruit him to participate in the operation to capture Julio. Pitkin only made one request, that is, after the case was solved, he would become a real police officer.
