Shen Jilan

"Shen Jilan" is a feature film adapted from the true story of Shen Jilan. The protagonist Shen Jilan was a representative of the 1st to 11th National People's Congress and a nationally famous worker. Mo, deputy director of Changzhi Municipal People's Congress, deputy secretary of the Party branch of Xigou Village, Pingshun County, and president of Jinxing Cooperative. The film is narrated by the elderly Shen Jilan, divided into four periods to show the most representative experiences of her life. It also reflects several very important development transition periods in New China. The film spans more than 60 years and records the growth process of Shen Jilan from 1946, when she was 17 years old, to Xigou. From 2008 to 2008, she led the people of Xigou to form a cooperative, reclaim wasteland, green the mountains, and finally built the new Xigou.
