Film Socialism

This film has been described as a "symphony of three movements", which brings together several characters with different national and ethnic backgrounds. The story of the film takes place on a Mediterranean luxury cruise ship, which passes through six famous European mythological sites, including Egypt, Palestine, Greece, Odessa, Naples, and Barcelona. Passengers from all over the world with different cultural backgrounds and speaking different languages ​​meet here. The main characters include a detective from the Moscow police department, an old war criminal with an unknown background and accompanied by his granddaughter, an elderly French policeman, a Palestinian ambassador, a former female UN official, a spy, as well as the French philosopher Alain Badiou and the American "punk godmother" Patti Smith.
