The new film directed by Ethan Hawke is adapted from Sybil Rosen's memoir "Treehouse Memories". Hawke and Rosen co-wrote the script and tells the life story of the late country musician Blaze Foley. Musicians Ben Dickey and Alia Shawkat have joined the cast. As a famous American country and western singer, Blaze Frey is deeply loved by Hawke, a Texan who loves music. Ben Dickey, who plays Frey, is an Arkansas native like Frey, and Hawke must have taken this into consideration when choosing the actor. The original Sybil Rosen, as Frey's long-term girlfriend and muse, brought unlimited inspiration to Frey's music creation career.
