Snow White's Bullfighting

In the bustling Spanish bullring, the strong bullfighter Antonio (Daniel Giménez Cacho) is conducting a key event. In the stands, his beautiful and pregnant wife Carmen (Inma Cuesta) watched everything in front of her nervously. However, an accident occurs and Antonio is seriously injured by a bull. The frightened Carmen dies after giving birth to a daughter. During the hospitalization, the scheming nurse Incana (played by Maribel Verdú) took good care of Antonio, and she would later become the new wife of the disabled matador. Little Carmen, who had been away from her father since childhood, returned to Antonio's mansion, but was brutally abused by Incana. The ill-fated Carmen (played by Macarena García) grows up and has outstanding appearance, but her ruthless stepmother will put her to death... This film is adapted from the story of Snow White and won the 2013 Goldie Award for Best Art Direction, the 2012 San Sebastian International Film Festival Silver Shell Award and the Special Jury Award.
