How to Steal Keys

Small theater actor Sakurai Takeshi (played by Sakai Masato) has struggled for many years and has never made a difference. He is impoverished, frustrated in love, and so desperate that he even fails to commit suicide. In desperation, he had no choice but to enter a public bath to take a bath. Unexpectedly, he accidentally slipped a piece of soap onto a strange man. The man fell to the ground and fainted, and Sakurai was obsessed with stealing the key to the other man's locker. From then on, he changed his name to Kondo and lived a wealthy life that he had never dared to achieve. However, what he never imagined was that Kondo (played by Teruyuki Kagawa) was actually a cold-blooded killer famous in the underworld. After that, Sakurai had to take over the commission from the underworld and bite the bullet and start a killing business. At the same time, Kondo, who woke up from the hospital, lost his memory and mistakenly thought that he was desperate Sakurai. With the help of the beautiful woman Mizushima Sanae (played by Hirosue Ryoko) whom he met by chance, he re-recognized himself as an actor bit by bit and struggled to explore the way forward. In the process, his and Sanae's hearts also quietly changed. And when his memory was restored, the fate of the three people became entangled... This film won the eighth place among the top ten films of the 2012 Japanese Film Festival.
