Sanatorium under the Sand Mirror

Haas's color film is a companion piece to "Manuscripts of Zaragoza". I personally feel that his style is more suitable for color, and this film is better than "Sarah". This is an inner adventure. The story is set in the early days of World War II and follows a young man on a strange train to visit his dying father in a sanatorium. But the place, which is about to be demolished, evokes many memories from his past. He is surrounded by soldiers from the past, mercenaries from the colony, girls from his past life, and his parents...
