"Jesus Christ: Out of Egypt" is the first part of the "Jesus Christ Series" by Anne Rice / author of "Interview with the Vampire". It tells the story of 7-year-old Jesus and his family who left Egypt and returned to Nazareth / discovering the truth about his birth and his mission. There is a second part called "The Road To Cana" (The Road To Cana) / and the third part "The Kingdom of Heaven" (The Kingdom of Heaven) is still being written. "Jesus Christ: Out of Egypt" is produced by Chris Columbus' 1492 Films and CJ Entertainment. It is directed by Cyrus Nowrasteh / who directed "The Stoning of Soraya M" (The Stoning of Soraya M) / and written by Cyrus Nowrasteh and his wife.
