The Price of Freedom

Sonia (played by Renée Zellweger) is a girl with a very cheerful personality and a head full of weird ideas. Fate brought her together with a man named Mendel (Glenn Fitzgerald). The two fell in love at first sight and soon entered the palace of marriage hand in hand. Mendel was a devout Jewish believer, and everything in his life followed God's will. Soon, Sonia discovered that what Mendel needed was just a "wife" in people's traditional concept, not a flesh-and-blood person like her. As time passed, the distance between Sonia and Mendel became farther and farther, and a jewelry store clerk named Raymond (Allen Payne) approached Sonia, and the two inevitably fell in love.
