Phantom of Freedom

This film is composed of several surreal short stories. In the park, a mysterious man thrust several pictures into a girl from a middle-class family. The girl's parents were shocked by the pictures of ancient buildings such as the Parthenon and the Arc de Triomphe. The husband was troubled by hallucinations at night and sought help from a doctor. It happened that the female nurse took leave and left. On the way home, the female nurse encountered a masochistic hatter, a gambling priest and others. A professor took a nurse's car to the police station to teach, but was always interrupted. He finally told an experience of attending a banquet, where several friends chatted on the toilet while eating in a private room similar to the toilet. A man suffering from cancer was told that his daughter was missing. Although her daughter was nearby, a group of people were still looking for her. A gunman who randomly shot passers-by in a high-rise building was sentenced to death, but it looked like he was released in court. The police chief received a call from his dead sister. He went to the cemetery to check, only to find that his place had been replaced by someone else... The film won the 1975 Silver Rabbit Award of the Italian Film Journalists Association.
