Elsa & Fred

Elsa (Shirley) MacLaine (played by MacLaine) is very old and lives a lonely life alone. One day, an old man named Fred (Christopher Plummer) moved next door to her. The old man had just lost his wife and was living under a dark cloud. Although Elsa and Fred were two completely different people, as time passed, the two aging tired hearts moved closer and closer to each other. Fred gradually stepped out of his grief by Elsa's company, and Elsa also found the hope and meaning of life because of Fred's existence. However, Elsa has always concealed a secret. She is seriously ill and has little time left. Not only that, but most of the past that Elsa told Fred was made up by her. When Fred learns the truth about all this, what choice will he make?
