Cafe de Flore

The film consists of two short films. The story takes place in Montreal. Anthony (Kevin Parent) is a DJ. While his career is flourishing, his love life is a mess. Rose (Evelyne Brochu) is Anthony's new lover. At the same time, Anthony and his old love Caroline (Hélène Florent) are still disconnected. Every day, Anthony feels like he is walking on a single-plank bridge. If he loses his footing, an endless abyss awaits him. The camera turns to Paris in 1969. Jacqueline (Vanessa Paradis) and her son with Down syndrome are dependent on each other. For a long time, Jacqueline has sacrificed everything in the hope that her son can have a short but happy life. However, for Jacqueline's son, the world built by his mother can no longer satisfy his curiosity and desire for knowledge. What he yearns for more is the real world outside.
