Flowers Fall

Pierre (Hardy Krüger) is a former French Air Force pilot. His plane crashed during a battle, and he lost his memory as a result. At the age of thirty, he returned to Paris after the war and met his girlfriend Madeleine (Nicole). Courcel) lives a monotonous life, but is troubled by amnesia and post-war syndrome. Until one day, he met Sibel (Patricia Gozzi), a little girl who was sent to a convent by her father, and learned that Sibel was abandoned by her parents. Pierre began to pretend to be her father and go to the convent to pick her up every weekend. They played together on the banks of the Seine. However, this innocent friendship has attracted suspicion, misunderstanding and criticism from outsiders, and even complaints from the monastery and police intervention. On a peaceful Christmas Eve, Pierre and Sibel cuddled together by the river. However, neither of them knew what was waiting for them behind the dark night... This film won the 1963 Oscar and Golden Globe Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
