Mozart Opera "Don Giovanni" (Don Giovanni)

In 1954, conductor Furtwängler conducted the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra at the Salzburg Music Festival to perform Mozart's classic opera "Don Giovanni". This precious video can be called the most perfect video of Furtwängler that has been preserved to this day. It comes from that time. The efforts of Austrian director Paul Zinard in 2004, regardless of cost, shot the entire opera performance on color film. The famous Italian bass Sieppi sang the title role, and the Swiss soprano Della Casa sang Elvira, which was a perfect choice at the time.
