Daniel (Matthew Macfadyen) is an unsuccessful writer who lives in the shadow of his older brother, Robert (Rupert Graves), a famous writer. Silently shouldering the responsibility of supporting his parents, he hosted his father's funeral this time, but he was also overshadowed by his brother. The originally solemn and sacred funeral was messed up by the cousin's fiancé, poor Simon (Alan Tudyk) who took acid by mistake. However, a greater crisis lies behind. A mysterious dwarf man (Peter Dinklage) appears and blackmails Daniel with evidence that destroys all his father's reputation. It turns out that Daniel's father is gay, and this secret is about to be revealed after his death. Amidst the chaos, the funeral went on in fits and starts. Dramatic sadness and humor quietly reveal to us the meaning of funerals - remembering the dead with love and allowing the living to bury their unhappy past at the funeral.
