Blood Beads

The new film "Red Jade" directed by Japanese director Tomiaki Takahashi and starring Eiji Okuda has been officially shortlisted for the "World Cinema Concern Section" of the 39th Montreal International Film Festival to be held in Canada from August 27 to September 7, 2015. Directors Takahashi and Okuda are of the same age. The film depicts the story of middle-aged men facing the real problems of "aging" and "sexuality" and working hard to pursue a more perfect life. Okuda plays the protagonist Shuji Tokita, who has dual identities as a university teacher and a film director. In addition to Okuda, new generation actors who studied at Kyoto University of Art and Design, as well as powerful movie stars such as Emoto Yu and Takahashi Keiko will co-star.
