The Disappeared Murder

Detective Sergeant Luo Yingcai (played by Cheung Siu-fai) of the Transnational Drug Trafficking Investigation Division was involved in a bribery incident and was transferred to the local police station by his boss Ma Wenchao (played by Simon Yam). Inspector Zhang Jiayin (played by Shao Meiqi) of the Crime Unit took over the investigation of a corpse discovery case. The body of the deceased Hu Yingying (played by He Huachao) was discovered by maintenance workers during the reconstruction project of the old building. He had been dead for eight years. Luo Yingcai identified the suspects as Lan Mianchao (played by Hong Tianming) and the deceased's wife Yan Fengping (played by Chen Jing). The two committed the crime with the motive of adultery and murder. The case was questioned by Senior Prosecutor Santos (played by Joe Junior) of the Department of Justice. The deceased had committed all kinds of evil during his lifetime, including rape, adultery, drug trafficking and extortion, as well as some ulterior deeds between Luo Yingcai and gangster Fei Wei (played by Lam Suet). Under Santos' questioning, Luo Yingcai changed from the investigator to the person under investigation. In the end, many strange plots continued to unfold from Luo Yingcai's confession.
