When Luo Jianfeng, captain of a certain city's Public Security Bureau, arrested a fugitive, his wife and sister Ge Shan was arrested for harboring. After being released from prison, Ge Shan had to hang out with his former boyfriend Wan Zilong in order to anger Luo. Luo then sent a clever young man Hou Jie to secretly investigate Ge's current situation. Hou discovered that Ge was actually a simple and kind-hearted girl, so he decided to help her face life again. Wan Zilong was a person who engaged in various illegal activities in private.
