Training Day

Alozo (played by Denzel Washington) is a black police detective of the United States Narcotics Enforcement Department. He is experienced, excellent in investigating cases, and has a keen sense of smell for drug cases. Known as the "Magic Eye". On this day, a new colleague Jack (Ethan Hawke) came to Alozo's department. Jack followed Alozo into every dark corner of the street. While discovering that the city was bizarre, he also slowly got to know Alozo's righteous and evil methods of handling cases. Although Alozzo is a police detective, his methods are on the edge of the law. Adhering to the principle of "fighting drug with drug", he first armed himself: confiscating the criminal's drugs and taking them himself, pointing a gun at Jack and ordering him to follow suit. He even had some unusual relationships with drug traffickers. But on the other hand, he struggled to protect Jack, a young man whose complex personality made Jack unpredictable about his detective boss.
