Murder of an Underground Boss

Cosmo Vitelli was a laconic man who served as a veterinarian in the Korean War and was also a gambler. He owns a strip joint in California called Crazy Horse West. When we meet him, he's paying off the last of his gambling debts. Soon after, Vitelli lost another $23,000 in an illegal card game. This time his debtor was no longer friendly and forced him to pay off the debt immediately or kill a Tang agent to pay off the debt. The film ends with Cosmo Vitelli standing alone on the lonely street outside the nightclub and starting to stroke his injured and bleeding abdomen.
