Millet and Mullet

Simon (Habib Boufares), a worker who had worked hard at the Port of Sete dock for most of his life, was fired. He felt angry and helpless, and his struggle with his boss was in vain. Due to the failure of his career, his relationship with his family has become tense. His ex-wife, lover, and children are all disappointed in him. When Simon is desperate, his lover's daughter Lim (Hafsia Herzi) steps forward. With her encouragement and help, Simon prepares to open a restaurant on an abandoned ship, but investors' doubts about his assets almost ruin the deal. However, Simon has regained his courage and confidence in life. He led his family gradually out of the gloom. Just as the family was preparing dishes for the restaurant, they encountered unprecedented trouble... The film won the Special Jury Award at the 64th Venice Film Festival.
