The Queen of Henan Cuisine

Yi Chunxi (Mu Tingting), a rural girl in Henan Province, is obsessed with Zhang Dukang (Zhang Bing), the host of a TV diet program, and comes to Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, to look for him. Zhang Zhengzhi is a famous chef in a certain hotel. After Chunxi accidentally became a jobber beside him, she felt only happy and began to try her best to make her happy. However, before she could find love, she was severely humiliated by Zhang. After a painful experience, Chunxi secretly determined to become a famous chef of Henan cuisine and to defeat Zhang Dukang at her hands. Song Xiaoni (Cai Xiaoyi), the sister-in-law who sells tea eggs, is someone Chunxi met when she first arrived in Zhengzhou. Chunxi was surprised that she was the 36th generation descendant of Song Wusao, a famous chef in the Song Dynasty. She did not have the cooking skills of the Guangda Immortal because of the injustice in the chef world. After Chunxi became a disciple of Song Xiaoni, she began to learn how to cook Henan cuisine under her guidance. In the past three years, she traveled all over the Central Plains to find famous chefs and learned good cooking skills. The annual Central Plains Kitchen King Competition is about to begin, and she vows to fight for the reputation of all the women with humbler status in the chef world. Her strongest opponent is Zhang Dukang.
