Synopsis
"The Gambler" is adapted from the 1974 film of the same name. Wahlberg plays Jim Bennett, a college English literature professor and a big-money gambler. He asked his students to play match-fixing so that he could profit from gambling. As his gambling addiction deepens, his life plunges into dire straits.
