Fortunately / Dao Zai (played by Andy Lau) and his girlfriend Zhen (played by Wang Zuxian) rescued him. They took Gao Jin home to recuperate. They discovered that Gao Jin was proficient in gambling and were very excited. They wanted to use him to make a lot of money / but instead they lost money because of Gao Jin's unstable performance. Gao Jin's wife was insulted and killed by his cousin Gao Yi after being drunk. Gao Yi then teamed up with Nan Ge to plot to murder Gao Jin / searched everywhere for Jin's hiding place / and went to hunt him down. While escaping / Gao Jin was injured when his car rolled over / but he recovered his memory - but he couldn't remember what happened during his amnesia. Dao Zai reminds Jin that Gao Yi is not a good person / but Jin is already in the dark and does not know where the danger lies.
