Many years ago, two planets at the other end of the Milky Way were swallowed up by black holes, and two infant alien children came to Earth in a spacecraft. They have superpowers and grew up in completely different environments, which also created their own different personalities and life directions. After growing up, the handsome and upright one becomes the urban Superman (voiced by Brad Pitt) who protects the city's peace, while the ugly-looking, blue-haired one becomes the big bad guy McMahon (voiced by Will Ferrell) who destroys people's health. They fought and fought all day long. On the opening day of the City Superman Museum, McMahon successfully escaped from prison and kidnapped the beautiful female anchor Roxanne (voiced by Tina Fey). In the final battle at the Observatory, McMahon successfully defeated his old rival and completely dominated the city. The good times did not last long, and McMahon soon felt bored after losing his opponent. Occasionally inspired by Roxanne, he determined to create a new hero of justice and restore the happy days of ebb and flow. However, everything started to develop in an unpredictable direction...
