The Call Out

After ending her dilapidated marriage, the beautiful and melancholy woman Mary Ji (played by Rachelle Lefevre) moved alone into an old apartment with more than half a century of history. Not long after she checked in, she received a call from a stranger. The other party is a woman named Rose (Lorna Raver), who is looking for her man. Mary didn't pay attention at first, but Rose's repeated calls bothered her, and she accidentally discovered that this might be a call that traveled through time and space. On the other end of the phone line, Rose is an unfortunate woman living in the late 1970s. The two women had a brief in-depth communication, but Mary's joke led Rose to kill her husband. After that, the almost crazy Rose focused on Mary, and the latter almost collapsed. The harassment from her ex-husband Steven (Ed Quinn) made her even more painful. Everything develops in an unpredictable direction...
