Defense Lawyer

Ray is a successful lawyer with his own law firm. One day he saw a murder on TV news and Ray became interested. It didn't take long for Mrs. Dofty, the suspect in the murder case, to come to the door, hoping that Ray could defend himself and would pay him a high reward if he successfully got rid of the crime. After conducting some investigation, Ray discovered that there were many strange things about the murder, and that Mrs. Dofty had concealed the truth. Ray follows Dofty to a villa and discovers Dofty is having an affair with her husband's financial lawyer. Dofty told Ray the truth and promised Ray that they would go away after the case was over. Ray successfully exonerated Dofty in court and the case was won. All this was seen by Detective Perkins. He came to the door of Lei's house and saw a scene that had puzzled him for many years. He burst into Ray's house and opened fire. It turns out that all of this was designed by Lei to lure out Perkins who was hiding behind the scenes. Perkins was shot to death by his assistant. The truth of the injustice that had been silent for many years was finally revealed, and Lei's revenge plan was finally realized.
