Shining Style

This film is based on the true story of Australian pianist David Helfgott. David (Alex Rafalowicz), who was born into a Jewish family, has shown extraordinary talent since he was a child. His father hoped that his son would become a successful person and forced David to practice piano hard. He even unrealistically asked his son to challenge the "Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor", which is known as "the most difficult piece to perform in the world." David suffered terribly in the shadow of his father. In order to prevent the family from breaking up, his father tried every means to prevent his son from going out to study. Eventually, father and son broke up. As a young man, David (Noah Taylor) went to the Royal College of Music to study. During this period, "pulling three" was still an unsolved complex in his heart. After intense preparations, he finally stepped onto the stage to challenge the climbing limit set by his father... The film won the 1997 Academy Award for Best Actor (Geoffrey Rush).
