Minato Taishan (played by Hiromi Nagasaku), a 50-year-old woman who raised her son alone after the death of her husband, suddenly lost the focus of her life after her son left home independently. When she was confused, she accidentally entered a sushi academy that offered "three-month quick sushi master training". Facing the serious and old-fashioned male lecturer Oedo Umi (played by Kenichi Matsuyama) who has high self-esteem for sushi, as well as classmates with different personalities, Coto regains the rhythm of life in a hurry, and gradually thinks about the meaning of "living for oneself". At the same time, her relationship with the sushi instructor who always disagreed with her quietly changed, and a belated adult love also unfolded unknowingly.
