Recently / some supernatural phenomena that have appeared in the house have plunged the family into fear and despair. To make matters worse / the youngest Janet seems to be the object of evil spirits. The church's exorcists Laurie (Vera Farmiga) and Ed (Patrick Wilson) intervened in the matter. Although they sympathized with the family / their primary purpose was to find out the authenticity of the supernatural events here. However / except for some oral accounts of the parties involved / there was no conclusive evidence to prove that supernatural events had really occurred here. The two had no choice but to leave.
