The Sky in Yangjiagou

In November 1947, Mao Zedong led the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the headquarters of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, code-named "Asia Department", to fight in northern Shaanxi. They came to Mizhiyangjiagou, the seat of the Ma family, the largest landlord group in northern Shaanxi, and lived in Fufeng Village, Ma's manor, for more than four months. The film mainly tells the story of the dilemma and confusion encountered by Ma Youde, an enlightened landowner of the Ma family, and his children during the historical changes. In the end, inspired by Chairman Mao and the party's policies, they changed their minds and supported and joined the revolution. At the same time, it objectively stated a large number of important revolutionary activities undertaken by Mao Zedong and the Party Central Committee during this period, and convened the epoch-making "December Meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China", which demonstrated Yangjiagou's historical status and contribution in the process of the victory of the Chinese revolution.
