Code 211

Adapted from one of the longest and bloodiest true cases in American police history. The title "#211" is a police code that means "robbery in progress." Mike Chandler (played by Nicolas Cage) has worked as a police officer all his life and is finally ready to enjoy retirement life. His partner, Steve McAvoy, is a rookie cop who also happens to be his son-in-law. They were accompanied by Kenny, a fifteen-year-old boy appointed by the court to accompany them on duty. Despite their reluctance to carry a tow bottle, they continued to patrol city neighborhoods as usual. However, the three soon discover that their fate has brought them head-on into a daring and violent bank robbery. They encountered a group of fearless and well-trained heavily armed robbers, namely Terry, Luke, Rob and Hyde, which put them into a dilemma of being caught off guard and lacking firepower.
