Battle on the Ice [Film and TV Commentary]

The story takes place in 1917, Will (Mackenzie Astin) lives with his father Jack (John Terry) Unfortunately, an accident happened and Jack lost his life, leaving Will alone. Not only did he have to find ways to take care of himself, but he also had to find ways to take care of his father's farm in South Dakota. What he needed and lacked most was money. In order to make money, Will decided to participate in Winnipeg's sled dog marathon with huge bonuses. Despite getting help from Ned (August Schellenberg), Will still faces huge challenges. Bad weather, frequent accidents, a long journey of 500 miles, and many difficulties, can Will, who is thin, successfully reach the finish line and fulfill his wish?
