"The End of the Flavor"

The mini-series "The End of the Flavor" tells a poignant love story between a young chef and a hungry soul. This drama is also the first story to focus on the Ghost Festival. The plot combines the cross-Southeast Asian culture of the Ghost Festival with the Singaporean gangsters in 1970, and combines elements of romance, drama and fantasy. According to ancient Chinese beliefs, lonely ghosts will return to the human world during the Ghost Festival (the seventh month of the lunar calendar) when the gate of ghosts opens to enjoy people's offerings. Offerings of food, drink, money, and different forms of entertainment are offered to appease these ghosts.
