The Nameless Town

Retired middle school teacher Kamio Eiichi was murdered. His daughter Kamio Mashi (played by Arimura Kasumi), who will get married in two months, returned to her hometown after learning the news of her father's sudden death. However, since the epidemic spread, this town has lost its former vitality, with few tourists and a quiet atmosphere. Why was the teacher Eiichi, who was deeply loved by the students, killed? Desperate to uncover the truth, a mysterious man appears in front of the real world - her uncle Takeshi Kamio (played by Masaharu Fukuyama), a former magician who was famous in Las Vegas... This film is adapted from Keigo Higashino's novel of the same name, telling the story of the protagonist using human observation and induced interrogation as weapons to solve difficult incidents with his niece.
