The Story of the Cooking Class 1

China's first military sitcom. There are several people in the cooking class of a grassroots company of the Air Force: squad leader Pang Hong (Hong Jiantao), who often talks about handling matters big and small that happens in the class calmly but always fails to handle them well; Gao (Fan Ming), the deputy squad leader who likes to pick on others' pigtails and makes small reports and wants to be the squad leader; and is enthusiastic and capable but prone to anger. The impetuous buyer Da Zhou (Zhou Xiaobin), the short Henan boy Xiao Mao (Mao Boy) who has a lot of clever ideas, loves to sing and get into trouble, the handsome Hu (Sha Yi) who steams steamed buns first-rate and likes to write articles, and the Xiao Jiang (Jiang Chao) who is as fat as Pang Hong, loves to eat, drink and sometimes brag about his calf. These six people, together with the company commander and other squad soldiers, had a series of interesting stories surrounding the small cooking squad that had nothing to do with eating.
